The Wisconsin Lions Camp is a non-profit, American Camp Association accredited camp dedicated to providing quality camping experiences for the youth and adults we serve. This program focuses on developing a positive self-concept, social interaction and experience in outdoor recreational activities and is geared to the specific needs and interests of each camper. The Wisconsin Lions Camp provides our summer camp program at no cost to participants or their families. However, the youth with diabetes sessions are provided in partnership with the American Diabetes Association Wisconsin which does charge a fee for registration. For questions, please contact the American Diabetes Association. This is made possible through statewide support from Lions, Lioness, Leo Clubs and other public and private donors. During our summer camp program, we serve youth ages 9-17 who socially or educationally functions as having a mild/borderline cognitive disability, youth ages 6-17 that are deaf or hard of hearing and blind or visually impaired, and youth ages 9-16 with diabetes. In addition we offer adult retreat programs for the blind or visually impaired and deaf or hard of hearing adults.
